How to Make Reindeer Poop

printable reindeer poop poemThis is a fun and incredibly easy Christmas craft project that elementary school kids will love! All you need is some candy, a plastic bag, and a bit of imagination. Here's the recipe:

1 bag of Milk Duds, chocolate-covered raisins, malted milk balls or other candy

1 plastic Ziploc bag

1 "reindeer poop" poem

A good sense of humor

Take the candy from its wrapper and pour into the Ziploc bag. Seal the bag. Print and attach the reindeer poem (below). Give to someone with a good sense of humor.

Pretty easy, eh?

But here's the important part. Without the poem, all you've got is a bag full of chocolate candy. To turn it into reindeer poop, you'll need the magic poem below:

reindeer poop songI woke up with such scare when I heard Santa call...
"Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
I ran to the lawn and in the snowy white drifts,
those nasty reindeer had left "little gifts."

I got an old shovel and started to scoop,
neat little piles of reindeer poop!
But to throw them away seemed such a waste,
so I saved them, thinking-you might like a taste!

As I finished my task, which took quite awhile,
Old Santa passed by and he sheepishly smiled.
And I heard him exclaim as he sped off in the sky...
"Well they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!"
